Attack from underneath the ground (eng)
After I won the 2nd place on a Student Scientific Conference at home, I was given a chance to present my paper in Brno, Czech Republic. For this occasion I made the short version of my longer and full paper. Unfortunately, at those times, my english was pretty weak (it was 3 years ago), as you can see reading my essay. If I will have time, I will rewrite it. Anyway, I made my presentation, and I won the 2nd place in the ’Special Structures and Materials’ Section after all. Letöltés - 875 KB (PDF)
In my paper I present the military (regular, irregular) and civil use of the tunnel, and the different forms of the applications. The usage of the tunnel in the warfare is a real danger nowadays. With the suitable engineer knowledge it is easy to construct, hard to discover, and it can cause serious devastation. So in the conflicts of the future – in the asymmetrical warfare, mainly in the terrorism – the tunnels will play an important part.
Ez a dolgozat egy csehországi nemzetközi TDK konferenciára készült, ahol végül 2. helyezést értem el vele a „Special Structures and Materials” tagozatban. Valójában a hazai OTDK-ra készült dolgozatom egy rövidített, angol változata.
